Confession – Why I have to Coupon!
Confession: I have to coupon to offset my husband’s spending.
Last night, in the middle of the night Avery woke up and I checked my email. Big mistake on my part! I see this email above since my husband and I share amazon accounts.
Who in the world spends $90+ on a computer mouse? My husband! That is who! And this is why I have to coupon. Sadly this hurts my heart. When I saw this email I woke him up (yes in the middle of the night) and asked did you spend $90 on a mouse? He says there were more mouses that were more expensive. He really thinks that $90+ on a mouse is ok. In my head, I am thinking I can get you a mouse on efurb for less than $10. He has expensive taste so I have to coupon to offset his expensive spending habits.
Are you serious? $90 really? This mouse better do some incredible things. Ughh does anyone else feel this is excessive for a mouse?
Update: about 3 months after he ordered this mouse, he had to send it back because a button stopped working. They sent him a new replacement mouse. Therefore, I guess when you buy more expensive items the quality of service is a little better. I still will never spend this much on a mouse. I can buy 9 for this price! In the end, my husband is a true Spenderella at heart and this frugal wife of his a frugal Spenderella trying to teach him the tricks on how to save money and still get quality merchandise. I will take the baby steps here and there when he shows he has learned something from all my frugal tips. We not all the way there but he has shown baby steps along the way!
