Madame Tussauds Las Vegas Review
Recently our entire family went on a vacation to Las Vegas. We have been many times in the past since my sister in law, Jenny, lives in Las Vegas. I was trying to count how many times we have visited Las Vegas and I think we have been over 20 times. My family loves it there and we have even thought about retiring in Las Vegas, but the only thing keeping us away is a lack of a beach and the summer heat of Las Vegas.
There is so much stuff to do in Las Vegas, so each time we visit we try to do at least one new thing and eat at one new restaurant. This trip we decided to visit Madame Tussauds Las Vegas for the first time. I can’t tell you how many times we have been to the Venetian, but enough to know we love the Resort, the Gondola ride and now we have a new favorite Madame Tussauds Las Vegas. Madame Tussauds is an interactive wax museum and great for families.
My favorite part about Madame Tussauds would be telling the kids who each celebrity was and why they are famous. Like one wax figure of Snoop Dog standing next to his red velvet throne you can sit on to take pictures (see picture below). My 4 year old daughter, Avery, liked the red velvet throne, but had no idea who Snoop Dogg was.
Madame Tussauds Las Vegas has celebrity wax figures from the Kardashians, Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Bruno Mars, and more. I enjoyed how there was cute displays so you can pose and do fun things from sitting next to Bruno Mars or Stevie Wonder playing musical instruments to Hugh Hefner on a couch, and more. This is definitely a museum that is family friendly and entertains the kids.
There is many rooms Las Vegas themed with probably our favorite three rooms being the Hangover room with Mike Tyson (see below picture), the police car scene out of Hangover (see top picture on post) and the Las Vegas Wedding Chapel (see above picture) where props are available for photos. I love that the entire museum is Las Vegas themed.
For the wedding chapel room there was dresses, bouquets, tux jackets and more to use as props. In the Hangover room featuring Mike Tyson (see picture above) there was wine glasses, bottles, solo cups and more to use as props. Each and every room is fun and like a party atmosphere with fun lights and music which made it extremely fun for the kids.
At the end there is even a Marvel Super Heroes 4D Cinema Experience room followed by a souvenir shop. Don’t forget to pose with the show girl in the Souvenir shop. The baby was not a fan of the 4D Cinema so we stepped out into the Souvenir shop until the rest of the party was done with the movie. The worked was nice enough to snap a photo of me and Alyvia next to the show girl.
